The Ultimate Law and Order: SVU Workout

There’s nothing better than settling in for a long Law & Order: SVU marathon; however it can be pretty easy to make it a habit and become a couch potato. I know it sounds like the ultimate dream, but it won’t be quite a fairy tale if your muscles turn to mush.

You’ll already be on the edge of your seat as you watch Benson, Stabler/Amaro, Munch, Amanda, and Tutuola save NYC from the bad guys, so you might as well use that energy to sneak in some exercise. This SVU-inspired workout has it all: cardio, abs, arms, legs, and full-body exercises—so you can keep up with the rest of squad during a foot chase.

Every time the intro plays:
Stretch.

Every time there’s a chase: 
Do 20 jumping jacks.

Every time Benson becomes overly involved in a case: 
Do 10 burpees.

Every time a victim or suspect’s parents hinder the investigation: 
Hold a low plank for 30 seconds.

Every time someone is read their Miranda rights: 
Do 10 sit ups.

Every time the detectives play good cop/bad cop: 
Do 10 pushups.

Every time there’s a sarcastic or witty joke: 
Do 10 squats.
