22 Worst Pieces of Health Advice from Goop

If you haven’t heard of Goop, consider yourself lucky. In short, the brand was started by Gwyneth Paltrow. You may know her from movies, but she’s also the type of woman who tries to live on food stamps for fun to prove how easy it is. Well, you can imagine what kind of company Goop has grown to be.

The goal of the company is to help people promote a healthier self, but they do it by ignoring actual science. The company supports physical healing by working on your spiritual health. That’s also fine, but when a company starts telling their customers they should take toxic substances to help their chakra, something is up.

Goop regularly comes out with advice on their blog. The company claims that the information comes from real doctors, but it’s still questionable. For example, one of their doctors claimed HIV and AIDs were a scam from Big Pharma.

Over the years, Paltrow and Goop have said some pretty questionable stuff, but when it comes to our health, things get a little more serious. These are 22 pieces of health advice that has come from Goop that could potentially harm you. At best, it’s inconvenient, but at worst, it’s deadly.
